Suggestions:
A. For some reason, most people say "the" circus instead of "a" circus. I am not sure why. I think it may be because "a" circus is a disparaging idiom, as in: "Whoa! Look at this mess, it looks like the a circus came through here."
B. You may want to put "That" at the beginning of the sentence. It is implied when speaking, but when writing you want to make sure you have a noun for a subject.
